Mangrove Village

Again, new project on Bonaire!

Recently I have seen a brochure about a new development close, almost in, the Mangroves at Sorobon! It will be named: Mangrove Village. How many of these developments are still to come? When do we get the 'houseboats' in the Mangroves? What will be left for our environment, nature, identity and most of all, our visitors, the so called 'tourists'?

Dear Henk,
The latest news is the started/starting case against the Government. Aliansa Foundation is urgently asking and advising the Governor to 'turn back' the given permits. However, deputy, Mr Dortalina, said in the newspapers; "we are taking care of, lora's, iguana's, flamingo's, all flora, etc., everything, we need to take care also of our own Bonairean people and their economy"!
